I have a love-hate relationship with CPK. 😂 My daughter and I even have a running joke that if I fall in love with a menu item, watch out—it's probably about to disappear! Every time I find a favorite salad or pasta, it eventually gets removed from the menu. At this point, I don't have the peace of mind to get too attached to anything. 😆 The one constant has been the Butter Cake, which is absolutely amazing (even if the price has definitely gone up!). We recently visited the Riverside Plaza location because my husband requested it. Of course, his Thai Chicken Pizza is ALWAYS on the menu. (I'm not jealous at all... 😒😂) This time we decided to split the Chicken Caper Pasta and the Carne Asada Pizza, and WOW—they were both delicious! The pasta was flavorful and comforting, and the pizza was incredible. The fresh cilantro and the green salsa served on the side took every bite to another level. It wasn't spicy, but it added the perfect fresh, tangy kick. We loved both dishes so much that there weren't any leftovers to take home! We have had a gift card for about a year and finally decided to finally try it out. I'm a total pizza lover and this place didn't disappoint. We got seated right away and the staff was friendly. The food came out pretty quick and was very good. My wife is vegetarian so she got the mushroom pizza and loved it. I got good ol pepperoni and it's was also really good. We will be back for sure

Food was great—this was my family’s first time here, and they really enjoyed everything we ordered. Unfortunately, the service declined as the night went on. I do want to be clear that I don’t believe this was our waiter’s fault at all. He was kind and attentive when he could be—he even refilled my son’s drink without being asked and made it better for him, which we really appreciated. It seemed like he was directed to stay behind the bar handling drinks, and he appeared stressed and stretched thin. The bigger issue was with management. The manager on duty (brown hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue/turquoise shirt) walked past our table numerous times while we were clearly finished with our meal, with plates and drinks pushed to the edge. Despite this, no one came to clear our table, check in, or ask if we needed anything else. Not once did she acknowledge us or send another staff member to assist. As the restaurant became less busy, the level of service actually decreased, which was frustrating and confusing. Eventually, a different waitress noticed us and helped us order dessert, but even then, we’ve been waiting over 15 minutes for an upside-down cheesecake and churro swirl. Ove

Most chain restaurants are usually a disappointment. The food is too processed, the flavors are off, and the prices could be better. Usually we go to these places because of the name hype or just nostalgia. However there are exceptions, like CPK!!! As a 100% Mexican I was surprised at the perfect guacamole that I was served. Who knew shaved jalapeños and corn would add so much to it. And you can actually get it for free if you sign up with their app. What you waiting for!!! The pizza was good and tasty. Enough left over for seconds at home. The elephant in the room was the Kung Pao Spaghetti. I mean its more like Kung Pao with noodles not spaghetti, so maybe we should call them that because calling them spaghetti felt like cultural appropriation even to me that was eating it. It was amazing!!! It was delicious!!! It was not enough. The serving was like a pasta serving but for the $23 dollar.... i felt cheated. Yes, not everyone can make such a perfect Kung Pao but for this price I rather keep checking other Chinese places because for that same amount I could actually get two full combos. But yeah I think I would want it again but the price just doesn't make me feel

I've eaten at CPK multiple times and sadly it is not the place for me however, I can see how others would enjoy it: I ordered a cream of garlic fettuccine hoping it would be creamy, its basically glorified butter noodles. For those who like plain pasta with minimal flavor and sauce this would be a great option. However I enjoy flavor and creamy pastas so I really regret getting this one, personally. Additionally our drinks were practically 2 sips and the rest is ice. We weren't able to get a refill until the end of our meal. The Chipotle Chicken Pizza was really good. The toppings tasted so fresh and the pizza was full of flavor that blended deliciously. The Wild Mushroom Pizza is also nice. They're generous with the mushrooms. The BBQ burnt ends was delicious and rated the best pizza by our group.
